Through two practice sessions at the updated Yas Marina track in Dubai things are basically how we thought they’d be between the two championship contenders. Max Verstappen appears to be able to squeeze a little bit more out of one lap, but Lewis Hamilton was dominant over long stretches. This would lead one to believe the two will have a great duel in Qualifying, and for Max to really have a shot at the title (barring something crazy like last weekend) he is going to need to take Pole. I think regardless of which side you’re on this weekend, most of us are hoping for a clean race and that the “best man wins” instead of something that requires the FIA to get involved. Tune in at 8 AM EST on Sunday morning to watch the action unfold.
