What on earth has happened to Bubba?….

He’s playing like the Pros in Space Jam after they lose their Talent

The two-time Masters champion, who was No. 4 in the world this time a year ago, continued his free fall in the Official World Golf Ranking after firing a 76-75 and missing the cut at the Players. He started the year ranked 10th and now he’s 31st, the lowest he has been since 2011.

Bubba’s biggest strength: Driving the golf ball a MILE, is still there. He is fifth on tour in strokes gained off the tee. The rest of his game however, has all but disappeared.

His strokes gained around the green (Essentially his short game) is ranked 200th on tour.

His strokes gained putting is 192nd.

He’s ranked 193rd in greens in regulation

And 167th in birdie average.

In Non-Team/Stroke Play Events on the PGA Tour, Bubba Watson has only finished a tournament under par once this year. Let’s look at his Last Five Events

Brutal. I blame the pink ball and gloves. Or ya know, he’s just having a bad year. Either way, the Bubba of Old is NOT the Same Bubba of 2017
